Case Study - 4 Holder St, Turner
The owner approached us some weeks before selling and we assisted by recommending certain tasks be completed before listing the property, such as re painting dark feature walls, repairing paving and putting some work into preparing the garden. Theoretically, this wasn't an accessories only package as we did add some items of furniture, such as the outdoor settings and kitchen stools. However, on the whole this gorgeous home really did just require decluttering and sprucing up. We added lots of texture and colour with small furnishings and added more artwork to the vendor's own collection of interesting pieces. Additionally, we moved pieces of furniture around to maximise the space and to allow traffic to flow freely through the rooms. The house really did look beautiful when sold and with a beautiful price to match!
"When recently selling our family home, making sure the house was presented in the best possible way was an important part of the plan. On recommendation, we decided to use 'Sold on Styling' and engage Suzy and Mel to advise and help make our house look its best. We had spent 17 years turning our deceased estate residence, into a modern, open plan family home that fully exploited its lovely aspect. It was vital that we complement the home's vintage and modern feel, using Mel and Suzy's skills and charms to revitalise our home turning it into a stand out property that sold way over the reserve at auction."
"Mel and Suzy enhanced our home's features and current styling, building on its modern mid-century character, so it was vibrant with colour, texture, and felt lush without overstatement. We received many complementary reviews throughout the sale process which attracted a large number of groups during the openings. I am absolutely sure our home would not have received the attention and interest, nor the final price, without Sold on Styling's well tuned skills making sure it was perfectly presented for the market."
