Case Study - 10 Hannaford St, Page

Jim had been living in his house since 1968 and his wife had died ten years ago. Unfortunately, he was finding it difficult to cope on his own. His family wanted him to downsize but the process was overwhelming for everyone concerned. The agent was unable to list the property because it needed so much work inside and outside before it could go on the market.

Sold On Styling guided the process of packing, sorting and de-cluttering whilst also assisting Jim through the upheaval and keeping his family and the agent informed. The home was styled using Jim’s furniture and accessories in combination with a few items of Sold On Styling’s furniture accessories where necessary. We organised gardeners and cleaners, and liaised with them throughout the project.

The property sold following the first open for inspection for $80,000 more than what Jim had anticipated and $30,000 more than the listed asking price.

...moving was a new experience and overwhelming. It was a huge job, sorting through 35 years of stuff.
— Jim, Page

... I could not believe the transformation... this property sold on the first day well above the owner’s expectations.
