The grounds of this heritage listed home were completely turned over to garden and organic produce, an absolute testament to the devotion and skill of the owners. It was such a delight to work in the house, the windows framed the external floral wonderland and heady perfumed scents wafted through the open doors and windows. Whilst the garden was just divine, the interior was dark and over crowded with colonial furniture and every room needed a big declutter. We suggested combining their furniture with our collection which would result in a more vibrant and contemporary styled home but still retain links to the house's heritage and the owner's personal style. The vendors, although deeply attached to their home, were completely open to our ideas as to which furniture should be retained and which items should be stored. The success was realised in an auction result which far exceeded everyone's expectations.
